Havening Techniques® have three distinct applications

Trauma andemotional

Well-being, stress management and peak performance

Self-help tool

We use Havening Techniques within the coaching process to help people overcome maladaptive emotional issues and quickly reach their objectives in areas from peak performance to managing change and removing phobias.

With havening, an adverse response to an emotional trigger may be eliminated in a single session.

Havening is particularly effective in getting rid of emotional blocks, anxiety and stress.

For problems such as simple phobias, havening achieves results that are rapid, gentle and permanent, sometimes in just minutes.

As the transformation is biological, you don’t have to believe in it for it to work.

Havening can resolve some client issues that pharmacological intervention only covers up or that talking therapies only pacify.

We build a positive, open working relationship with clients to accompany them towards their desired outcomes. Our sessions can vary in length and in number depending on the targeted objectives and specific needs.

Our discussions are strictly confidential, and disclosing content about traumatic events is not essential for Havening to be successful.

As qualified professionals, we may rely on supervisors for additional counsel, but client anonymity is always respected.

Havening is suitable for most clients to do themselves with adequate guidance.

We advocate and teach self-havening in our sessions.

Self-Havening Touch Process:

Self-Havening can be very effective for decreasing stress and strong negative emotions, as well as developing self-confidence and optimism.

How to Self-apply one of the Havening techniques?

Affirmational Havening:

  1. Activate the specific, positive emotional state that you want to work on. For example, if you want to increase self-confidence, imagine or remember what that feels like,

  2. Begin self-Havening by applying havening touch on the face, arms or palms with repetitive circular movements as shown in the diagram,

  3. Focus on your positive emotional state and quietly repeat the word that describes what you are feeling,

  4. Allow your imagination to expand and develop that feeling,

  5. Then, say the other positive emotional words that come to mind.

When a situation is perceived as very distressing, it is encoded in the brain.

This can create serious consequences for our well being, including traumaphobias, anxiety, grief, panic attacks, PTSD, stresspathological emotions and

much more.

Havening Techniques® have been proven to alleviate their symptoms.

This ground breaking, scientifically based therapy gets at the biological cause.

Havening reduces anxiety by altering the way memories are stored or recalled.

The memory of an event isseparated from the distress it causes.

So, while the memory can still be retrieved, its emotional hold has vanished.

The process works bymodifying the electro-chemical state of the brain.Several Havening Techniques have been developed to take advantage of those biological changes.

Havening blends into and complements our coaching and personal development work.

Those competencies make our application of Havening Techniques pertinent and timely.

Once the Havening has successfully brought about an emotional change, it is usually important to accompany the client in building new skills and resources.

Havening can be so powerful that clients may feel a little unsteady and need to adjust.

Coaching is then highly

Clients generally feel very relaxed and serene after Havening.

Memory retrieval of the distressful situation is usually flat, distant or vague.

Sometimes new details that had been totally blocked out come up.

They tend feel lighter and look younger.

Clients are typically flabbergasted: the heavy  weight that they’ve been carrying for so long disappears instantlypainlessly.

They find that what they thought was impossible is now totally accessible with Havening techniques.
